Song Biography – “Sweet Jesus”

This song was birthed in a season where God was speaking to me a lot about bees and honey.

It started off with a dream of a bee’s nest hanging above me on my bed, and thereafter I kept coming across messages about bees and honey. I felt He was speaking to me about the Deborah (meaning bee) anointing, that He wants me to rise up and take my place in the Kingdom, with the authority He has given me. He wants me to be bold, leading others in worship, to defeat the enemy.

But more importantly, I felt honey spoke of the sweetness of having intimacy with Him.
Honey is so nourishing and satisfying. It has so many health benefits. When we spend time in God’s Presence we are strengthened and satisfied.

There are no short cuts with God. When you spend time with Him, He helps you find time for everything else. You can’t do anything worthwhile without Him. I am amazed at this truth.

God wants you to enjoy the journey of your life. He is going through it with you and wants you to share it with Him.
