Song Biography – “Army Arising”

A while back I saw a vision of this HUGE army marching– many people of all ages, and they were waving banners in the air. They were victorious and were singing boldly as they moved forward. I believe this was a picture of the worshipping Church and I felt inspired to write a song about it.

Army Arising is a prophetic, declaratory praise song. It speaks of the unbelievable power we as worshippers have at our disposal as we praise and sing in faith. The very atmosphere is affected, as well as the physical world around us.

Our corporate anointing as a church is much stronger than the sum of each individual anointing. As we sing and declare these truths together, I believe, that God’s power is released, which mobilises Heaven’s Army to achieve much for the Kingdom of Light. I believe that singing this song also empowers the individual to realise the capacity within them. The very Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us!! (Romans 8:11). May our faith rise within us to fully realise that “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” (Phil 4:13).

I believe that God has been strategically hiding away many, many true worshippers who know how to worship in Spirit and Truth. Some have been in hiding for many years. It is just a matter of time before they all start rising up and make their voices heard. I see lots and lots of new songs being written and produced, and many will be amazed as new worship singers start to emerge and take their place in this. Cumulatively, this will make a great and mighty Earthly Army that the Enemy will fear.
This Earthly army will raise the banners of Yaweh Nissi and declare all His good deeds, past and future.
